Portrait 1

An intensely personal portrait including the one person in my life that is most important to me. The layers include the beautiful red leaf from a mangrove, with eucalypts silhouetted against the evening sky.

A new series? Yay! Very nice double portrait, your steady gaze is compelling.

Thanks There are four pictures two each of myself and my lovely wife, they combine in an unexpected way. I like the idea of doing another series, and will probably move down this line for a while too. Cheers, Tony.

Very strong and mysterious. I love the colors and the light. I think the human head is such a strong image, the fact that there are two here gives more movement… I also like the near/far aspect.

Great that you can get a good connection – long may it last. Thanks for the comment on the picture, Tony

ha..it will last about one more hour, and then i am going home to basically zero connection. i hold a metal mixing bowl in front of the usb modem in order to get a signal strong enough to open the inbox.. many times the wp posts don’t open correctly, and i can usually see the words but not the images or ‘like’ comment, etc…

one day……………. surely one day technology will reach the riverhouse!

That’s amazing, but… there’s hope for you yet, a friend in rural Spain struggled even with mobile phone technology for years, and eventually the technology has broken through. We’ll hold thumbs for you. Tony
